Power reaches the systems in this order. When the reactor and battery cannot cover them all, the last ones get less: the cannon charges slower, the torpedo loads slower, the shield recharges slower, and the engine pushes less hard. The dampener needs all of its power or the engine stops.
Discovery model: power, the cannon, the torpedoes and the shield come from the V3 catalog's TSC Fighter Mk1; the flight ratings are demo values.
Tap a key to change it, then press the new key. Escape cancels; Backspace leaves the command without a key. Keys are kept in this browser.
Space also fires the cannon, and + and − zoom, unless those keys are bound here. Joystick (first pass, standard mapping): stick turns and throttles; trigger or button 1 fires the cannon, button 2 launches a torpedo, button 3 (hold) is forward thrust, button 4 is all stop.
The catalog's Mark I impulse engine is rated 20 km/s, 100 g and 3°/s, which suits an escort better than a fighter; these are demo values until the fighter has its own engine.
With enemy fire on, an enemy within 60 km hits us every 4 seconds: 150 SEO on the shield quadrant facing it, or 25% of the hull when that quadrant is down or the shields are off.
